Ben McClure MBA, FRSA – Enterprise Incubator Lead, Arden University
Ben McClure is the Enterprise Incubator Lead at Arden University, where he supports undergraduate students to explore entrepreneurship, build real-world skills, and launch and grow their own ventures. With a long career spanning venture capital, startup development, and founder mentoring, Ben brings experience and deep insight into what it takes to grow a business from the ground up — and a strong desire for making enterprise education accessible.
Before joining Arden, Ben worked with early-stage tech startups across a wide range of industries. He has helped founders refine and articulate their ideas and business models, successfully raise funding, build strategic plans, and develop the confidence needed to navigate uncertainty and scale impact. He is passionate about supporting first-time founders and non-traditional entrepreneurs — those who may not see themselves as “business people” but have valuable ideas and the drive to make things happen.
At Arden, Ben is taking the Enterprise Incubator to the next stage of its development, designing workshops and training, mentoring programmes, and student-led challenges that meet students where they are. Whether students are growing existing businesses, launching side hustles, social enterprises, or simply exploring how to turn their ideas into reality, Ben provides hands-on support and a welcoming, honest space to learn by doing.
Ben is also a strong believer in collaboration — working with mentors, industry partners, and academic staff to build a vibrant enterprise community that reflects the creativity, diversity, and ambition of Arden’s students.
