Bio

Lynda Fernandes is an Assistant Lecturer in the school of Leadership and Management at Arden University. Lynda brings a wide range of experience of working in the charity and entrepreneurial sectors in India and Dubai to transform passive teaching approaches into authentic work integrated learning.

Lynda champions social enterprise and entrepreneurial education to effect sustainable change for a better tomorrow. She is passionate about widening participation in entrepreneurship and providing students with meaningful mentorship to develop the skills they need to succeed at university and beyond. This approach has been recognised throughout her career with nominations and awards for teaching at institutional and international levels (including the Oxford Outstanding Teacher Award 2022).
