Bio
With over 25 years of experience in formulating business strategies and managing sales and marketing operations in fast moving consumer product sector, Cary Wong has made credible achievements in both business side and people development side. He has contributed to the development of some international brands in Asia such as Twinings tea (UK), Lavazza coffee (Italy), Stella Artois beer (Belgium), Budweiser beer (USA), Lowenbrau beer(Germany), Carlsberg beer (Denmark), San Miguel beer (Philippines), Ballentine’s whisky (UK), Courvoisier cognac (France). In addition, Cary had firsthand start-up experience from his own consulting services firm targeting FMCG companies and a private SME importing and distributing international beverage brands.
Currently a Business Lecturer in Arden University, Cary is lecturing in business and management modules across level 4 to 7 and managing the development of several new and emerging modules. Before joining Arden, he was a full-time lecturer in the Business School of The Metropolitan University of Hong Kong and a part-time lecturer in The City University of Hong Kong. Cary acquired Registered Business Coach in World Association of Business Coach in 2012 and he has been an active mentor for the students at The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2016 to 2020.
As a life-long learner, Cary received a Postgraduate Certificate in Digital Education in Practice from Arden University; a Master in Social Science (Applied Psychology) degree with Distinction from The City University of Hong Kong; a Master in Business Administration degree from The Chinese University of Hong Kong; and a Bachelor of Engineering (First-Class Honours) degree from Sunderland University in United Kingdom.
